Ryde Pier Railway

The Wightlink fast ferries leave passsengers at the end of the ½-mile long Ryde Pier, requiring a lengthy walk or journey on the pier railway to get to Ryde town. The trains, operated by Island Line, run on beyond Ryde to Brading, Sandown and Shanklin (8.5 miles). The vehicles are ex-tube trains made up of 1938 stock, last used on the mainland on the Bakerloo and Northern Lines.

This train has been painted in London Transport style.
