Olau Hollandia
was built for the Olau Line Sheerness-Vlissingen service in 1982. In 1989 she was sold to Nordström & Thulin, along with sister
Olau Britannia (I)
, for delivery in spring 1990. She was renamed
Nord Gotlandia
, and used on their Gotlandslinjen services. When their Gotland contract end in 1997, she was sold to Eckerö Lines.

was built as the
Transgermania
in 1976 for Poseidon Schiffahrts of Lübeck. She operated on routes between Germany and Finland until 1991, when she was chartered to Norse Irish Ferries, the first of many charters. Subsequent charters were to SeaWind Line and Finncarriers. In 1993,
Transgermania
was renamed
Rosebay
. Further charters followed to Transeuropa Line, Stena B.V. (for Harwich-Hoek van Holland), Holyman Sally Ferries (as
Eurostar
and
Eurocruiser
), Stena Line, Rederi Ab Engship, Botnia Link (as
Transparaden
), DFDS Tor Line and SCF St. Petersburg Lines. She was sold to Rederi Ab Eckerö in 2004, and renamed
Translandia
, entering service between Helsinki and Tallinn.
