	This page is one of a series showing images from a 10 night 'Christmas Markets' cruise from Southampton in December 2012. We were delayed entering the locks at Ijmuiden for much of the day. By the time we reached Amsterdam it was dark and icy underfoot, but we did visit the Maritime Museum. An interesting building but rather low on exhibits at the time. There was a slight snowfall overnight with about 50mm on the decks the following morning. People initially wandered the decks building small snowmen but we were all chased back inside - Health & Safety! King Seaways was in Ijmuiden as we entered the canal on the 6th December 2012 and sister Princess Seaways was in port as we left Ijmuiden again on the 7th, delayed further due to high winds. We effectively lost one day in Amsterdam and one in Copenhagen.
