Cort Adler (1961-70)
Cort Adler
was built in Trondheim for A/S Larvik-Frederikshavn, entering service in 1961. In 1970, she was sold to Mexican state-owned Caminos y Puentes Federales de Ingresos y Servicios Conexos, and renamed
Presidente Diaz Ordaz
. She operated on the route Santa Rosalia-Guaymas until 1984.

was built in 1973 by Ateliers & Chantiers du Havre, for A/S Larvik-Frederikshavn Ferjen. In 1984 she was replaced by
Peter Wessel (4)
,
and
chartered to Stoomvaart Maatschappij Zeeland N.V (SMZ) for Harwich-Hook of Holland service as the
Zeeland
. In 1985 she was sold to
Stena Line
and renamed
Stena Nordica
. In 1988 she was sold to Jadrolinija and renamed
Marko Polo
, entering service between Ancona-Corfu-Patras-Corfu-Dubrovnik-Split-Venice. In 1992
Marko Polo
was chartered to TT-Line for Trelleborg-Rostock service. In 1994
Marko Polo
was chartered to Compagnie Marocaine de Navigation (COMANAV), for service between Nador-Sete. She remains in Jadrolinija ownership in 2003. A complete postcard history of this ship is available

Peter Wessel (4) (1984- )
The fourth
Peter Wessel
was built by Öresundsvarvet Ab, Landskrona, in 1981, for
Rederi AB Gotland
. Her intended name was
Gotland
, but she was chartered to Oy Vasa-Umeå Ab (
Vaasanlaivat/Vasabåtarna
) before delivery, as the
Wasa Star
. In 1983,
Wasa Star
was chartered to the Greek Karageorgis Line but was returned early following a dispute over payments. She was then sold the same year to Larvik Line for their Larvik-Frederikshavn route, becoming the fourth
Peter Wessel
. In 1997, the Larvik Line operation passed to
Color Line

was delivered to DFDS in 1974 for the Harwich-Esbjerg route, on which she remained until 1983. She then operated on the Copenhagen-Oslo route. In 1990,
Dana Regina
was sold to Nordström & Thulin of Sweden for their Stockholm-Tallinn service marketed as
Estline
. She was renamed
Nord Estonia
, and the official
Estline
postcard is shown below. In 1992 she was chartered to Larvik Line as
Thor Heyerdahl
. Between 1994-6 she operated as
Vana Tallinn
under charter to
Tallink
. In 1998 she was purchased by
Tallink
.

Albayzin (1996)
Albayzin
was built in Spain for Buquebus in Argentina in 1994. In summer 1995 she operated between Spain and Majorca with Trasmediterranea. In the summer of 1996 she was chartered to Larvik Line for a service between Larvik-Skagen.
