This page is one of a series showing images from a 16 night cruise on Celebrity Eclipse in October 2010 to Venice via Cadiz, Cagliari and Split, returning via Dubrovnik, Palermo and Malaga. We travelled in Sky Suite 2128 high on the starboard side aft.

This page covers the visit to Malaga. Since our visit was on a Sunday, many things were shut, including all shops apart from a few tourist junk shops. On a previous visit El Corte Ingles was open on a Sunday - not this time however. Also, the delightful Cafe Jardin by the cathedral was closed too. Instead, we briefly looked in the cathedral (tourists are discouraged on Sundays) and walked around the magnificent castle. There was also a book fair held in the park by the port, where a band also played Verdi and Bizet. Previous visits to Malaga had been in blistering August heat; it was far more enjoyable to wander around in the pleasant October temperatures of around 23°C.
