Queen Elizabeth 2 (1969- )
The
Queen Elizabeth 2
was launched on 20th September 1967. Following early problems and extended trials, she did not enter service until May 1969. The cards below were issued by J.Arthur Dixon as a tear-off set. The set is still intact, and is shown as such below.
The cards show (top-to-bottom): External view of QE2, The Queens Room, Theatre Bar, Midships Bar,
Double Room, Britannia Restaurant, Columbia Restaurant, Bathing Pool, Main Control Room and the Bridge.
