Kattegat
then operated as
Nordek
for the Finnish company
Jakob Lines
until 1973, when she was sold to
Corsica Ferries
as the
Corsica Star
for Genoa-Bastia service. In 1980
Corsica Star
was sold to Shipping & Touristco of Samos & Ikaria SA, Piraeus for a service from Piraeus to Samos and Ikaria as the
Ikarus
. In 1991
Ikarus
passed to European Seaways for Brindisi-Igoumenitsa service as the
European Glory
. In 1997
European Glory
became the
Captain Zaman
for Istanbul-Odessa service of Ukra Turk Line. Now 42 years old, she passed to Albanian owners in 2000 and was renamed
Jassim
in 2001.
