This page is devoted to postcards and photographs of the Grenå-Hundested Lines ferry Kattegat.
 
Kattegat was built in 1961, and served with her original owners until 1969. Kattegat then operated as Nordek for the Finnish company Jakob Lines until 1973, when she was sold to Corsica Ferries as the Corsica Star for Genoa-Bastia service. In 1980 Corsica Star was sold to Shipping & Touristco of Samos & Ikaria SA, Piraeus for a service from Piraeus to Samos and Ikaria as the Ikarus. In 1991 Ikarus passed to European Seaways for Brindisi-Igoumenitsa service as the European Glory. In 1997 European Glory became the Captain Zaman for Istanbul-Odessa service of Ukra Turk Line. Now 42 years old, she passed to Albanian owners in 2000 and was renamed Jassim in 2001.

In 1980 Corsica Star was sold to Shipping & Touristco of Samos & Ikaria SA, Piraeus for a service from Piraeus to Samos and Ikaria as the Ikarus. In 1991 Ikarus passed to European Seaways for Brindisi-Igoumenitsa service as the European Glory.

In 1997 European Glory became the Captain Zaman for Istanbul-Odessa service of Ukra Turk Line. Now 42 years old, she passed to Albanian owners in 2000 and was renamed Jassim in 2001.
