This page is devoted to postcards and photos of Transmanche Ferries. An alphabetical list of ships shown on this page is shown below. The Table beneath gives links to complete postcard history pages on selected individual ships. Below the table are postcards and photos of the fleet in chronological order.

Transmanche Ferries was formed in 2001 by Conseil General de Seine Maritime, Dieppe, to reintroduce a year-round conventional ferry service from Deppe. Chartered tonnage was used initially, but two purpose-built ro-pax ferries entered service in 2006. Transmanche Ferries is now owned by Louis Dreyfus Armateurs who also run LD Lines.

Postcards

Sardinia Vera was laid down as Stena Atlantica, but was launched as Marine Atlantica for Canadian service in 1975. In 1986 she was sold to Corsica Ferries and was renamed Corsica Vera, but was transferred to Sardinian services the following year, and renamed Sardinia Vera. In 2001 she began to operate under charter between Newhaven and Dieppe for Transmanche Ferries. She is a sistership to Sardinia Ferries Corsica Marina II, and also Moby Lines' Moby Vincent and COMANAV's Al Mansour. She became a spare vessel in 2001 with the arrival of the two Mega Express sisters, and was chartered to Transmanche Ferries to open their new all-year service beween Newhaven and Dieppe. She makes two return trips each weekday (only one at weekends).
