Smyril (1)
(1975-2005)
Morten Mols
was built in 1969 by Aalborg Vaerft A/S, Ålborg, Denmark for the Mols Linien service between Sjællands Odde and Ebeltoft. Her sistership was
Mikkel Mols
. In 1975
Morten Mols
was sold to Rederi Strandfaraskip Landsin (Faroe Islands) as the
Smyril
(her sister was sold to them 5 years later as the
Teistin
).
Smyril (1)
was withdrawn in October 2005, replaced by
Smyril (2)
. On 23rd February 2006 the Faeroese inter island ferry
Smyril (1)
sailed from her home port, heading for Gran Canarias, where she will be dry docked and rebuilt before heading for the West Indies to operate as an inter island ferry .

Mikkel Mols
was built in 1969 by Aalborg Vaerft A/S, Ålborg, Denmark for the
Mols Linien
service between Sjællands Odde and Ebeltoft. Her sistership was

was sold to Rederi Strandfaraskip Landsin (Faroe Islands) as the
Teistin (1)
(her sister had been sold to the same owners in 1975).
Teistin (1)
was chartered to
Viking Line
during the summers on 1985 and 1986 as
Ålandsfärjan.
She was sold again in 1996 to
Moby Lines
and renamed
Moby Ale
, serving between Piombino and Portoferraio (Elba).

Dugvan
was built in 1969 as the
Schleswig-Holstein
for Elbe-Fähre's Cuxhaven-Brunsbüttel service. The service was taken over by HADAG Seetouristik und Fährdienst AG in 1974, but closed in 1981.
Schleswig-Holstein
was laid up until 1985 when she was sold to Strandfaraskip Landsin for their Strendur-Toftir-Torshavn service in the Faroe Islands.

was built in 2001 for the Skopun-Gamlarætt service in the Faroe Islands.
