- Monte
d'Oro - Page 2 - Photographs
-
- This page is devoted to photographs
of the SNCM-Ferrterranee fast ferry Monte d'Oro, all taken
by Ian Boyle at Livorno in July 2000. The Monte d'Oro
arrived just before sunset, as we were leaving on the Oriana.
Minutes later, we also passed the Moby Line's Moby Rider,
but was already too dark for photography. Monte d'Oro's primary
route is from Marseille to Porto Vecchio, but I believe she is
also the only SNCM conventional ferry scheduled to operate from
Livorno (to Porto Vecchio) in Summer 2000. She was built in 1991,
and carries 500 passengers, 130 cars and has 1615 linear metres
of freight lanes.
