This page is devoted to postcards and photographs of the HML cruise ship Aquarius.
 
Aquarius was built in 1972 by United Shipping Yard, Perama, for use as a cruise ship by Hellenic Mediterranean Lines (HML). Aquarius was the first HML cruise ship, and also the first cruise ship purpose-built in Greece. She was 4591 gross tons, 103 metres long and could carry 312 passengers. Aquarius was seized by her mortgagees in 1986, after a poor season following the Achille Lauro hijacking, and sold to Jadranska Linijska Plovidba (Jadrolinija), Rijeka, in 1987. Aquarius was renamed Adriana. and ran cruises in the Adriatic, plus charters to other cruise companies such as HAPAG. She passed to Nice-based Plein Cap (part of Marina Cruises) in 1997.

Aquarius

Aquarius was built in 1972 by United Shipping Yard, Perama, for use as a cruise ship by Hellenic Mediterranean Lines. She was sold to Jadranska Linijska Plovidba (Jadrolinija), Rijeka, in 1987, and renamed Adriana.
