CFD BB 404-406

CFD built four 414hp BB centre cab diesels in the early 1960s. BB 405 was delivered new to Corsica in 1966. Of the other three, one went to the Vivarais and two to the PO Lignes de Correze. These three examples later became CP 401-403 in Provence. and 403 moved to Corsica in 1974 becoming their 404. 1973-built BB 406 arrived in 1995, after conversion from standard gauge, and is more powerful at 600hp.

CFG Diesels

Constructions Ferroviaires Giragr (CFG) are a French company which imports rolling stock from Eastern Europe. The 45000 and 60000 series are both L45H diesel locomotives, built by Faur (Romania) during 1960s, 70s and 80s. 12 of these locos are in Corsica in 2005 whilst track improvements are done in preparation for the new AMG800 railcars.

The 12 locos are:-
#45001 - #45003, totally modernised, with original engine (Maybach), 6 cyl, 450 hp.
#60001 - #60009, totally modernised, with a new Caterpillar diesel engine (770 hp).
