Deutschland at San Francisco

 

 

The first visit by the new Peter Deilmann cruise ship Deutschland to San Francisco. These photos were all taken by Marvin Jensen, who retains the copyright.

 

Deutschland was built by Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Kiel who built the two Astors, the Berlin (1986) and Hamburg (1969), plus various ferries. She was completed in 1998, is 22496grt in size, and has dimensions 175.3 x 23 x 5.55 m. Engines consist of 4 x MAK, 12320kW, and she has 580 berths.
