This page is devoted to postcards and photographs of the Rederi AB Gotland ferry Visby of 1972. She is the sistership of Gotland (1973).

Visby was built in Yugoslavia for the Okershamn (Sweden)-Visby (Gotland) service of Rederi AB Gotland in 1972. She was renamed Drotten in 1980. During her career, she also operated on charter to Viking Line and Miura Line. She was sold in October 1985 to Corsica Ferries, and renamed Corsica Viva II. She was rebuilt with extra accommodation in 1989, and renamed Corsica Regina. In 1995 she was transferred to Sardinia Ferries, and renamed Sardinia Regina.

An official Corsica Ferries card (serial number 5) as Corsica Regina.

Official Corsica Ferries poster cards (serial numbers 3 and 4), showing Corsica Regina (named on card 3) or her sistership. These form part of a set of at least ten cards issued by Corsica Ferries a few years back, which included excellent photographic cards of the fleet (the same six conventional ferries still in service in 2000) and the two cards shown below. I am still missing cards 1 and 2, which I suspect may be further art cards. Note the cards below incorporate their serial numbers into the designs.
