	Images of metrotenerife at Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The tramway has two routes of which the first, Line 1, was opened on 2nd June 2007 between Intercambiador to La Trinidad. A second route, Line 2, which crosses Line 1 was opened on 30th May 2009, sharing the two stations Hospital Universitario and El Cardonal. The tram fleet consists of 24 Alstom Citadis 302 five-section trams. There are plans to build two railway lines on Tenerife, running along the north and south coasts from Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

metrotenerife Trams
(101-124)

The tram fleet consists of 24 double-ended Alstom Citadis 302 five-section trams numbered 101-124 with individual vehicle sections suffixed 01-05. Only the last two digits 01-24 are shown in the front windscreens. Each section is painted a different colour, blue, orange, green, yellow and turquoise. Because there are triangular junctions on the line, not all trams 'face' the same way, although most have the blue end facing Intercambiador (south).

metrotenerife Routes

The tramway has two routes of which the first, Line 1, was opened on 2nd June 2007 between Intercambiador and La Trinidad. A second route, Line 2, which crosses Line 1 was opened on 30th May 2009, linking La Cuesta and Tincer, sharing the two stations Hospital Universitario and El Cardonal.
