This page is devoted to postcards and photographs of the Swedish Lloyd ferry Saga. Sisterships were Patricia and Svea.
 
Saga was built in 1966 for Swedish Lloyd. She was one of three sisterships, the others being Swedish Lloyd's Patricia, and Svea Lines' Svea, which became the Knossos of Minoan Lines in 1978. She was used on the Swedish Lloyd Tilbury-Gothenburg service until 1971, when she was sold to Stena Line, and served under the names Stena Atlantica, Finnpartner, Olau Finn and Folkliner before purchase by Minoan Lines in 1984. She entered service with them as the Festos in 1985. Festos has since served as the Captain Zaman I of Diler Lines, and the Sancak I of Sancak Line.

Saga (the third of the name) was built in 1966 for Swedish Lloyd. She was one of three sisterships, the others being Swedish Lloyd's Patricia, and Svea Lines' Svea, which became the Knossos of Minoan Lines in 1978. She was used on the Swedish Lloyd Tilbury-Gothenburg service until 1971, when she was sold to Stena Line, and served under the names Stena Atlantica,

Stena Atlantica
(Stena Line: 1971-73)
 
Stena Line, acquired the Saga in 1971. She was renamed Stena Atlantica and served on the Göteborg-Kiel, Kiel-Korsör and Göteborg-Copenhagen. In 1973 she was sold to Oy Finnlines, renamed Finnpartner, and put on a route between Helsinki-Nynäshamn-Travemünde.

Finnpartner
(Finnlines: 1973-75)
 
In 1973, Stena Atlantica was sold to Oy Finnlines, renamed Finnpartner, and put on a route between Helsinki-Nynäshamn-Travemünde. She was laid up in 1975, and chartered to Olau Line between 1976-82 as Olau Finn. In 1982 she was sold to Finska Postbanken.

Olau Finn
(Olau Line charter: 1976-82)
 
Finnpartner was laid up by Finnlines in 1975, and then chartered to Olau Line between 1976-82 as Olau Finn. In 1982 she was sold to Finska Postbanken, and chartered to Folkline as the Folkliner.

Folkliner
(Folkline: 1982-84)
 
In 1982 Olau Finn was sold to Finska Postbanken, and chartered to Folkline as the Folkliner. She served on routes Kaskö-Gävle and Karleby-Umeå (the latter on charter to Merenkurkun Linjat Oy ). In 1984 she was sold to Minoan Lines and renamed Festos.

Festos
(Minoan Lines: 1984- )
 
Festos was built in 1966 as the Saga of Swedish Lloyd. She was one of three sisterships, the others being Swedish Lloyd's Patricia, and Svea Lines' Svea (which became the Knossos of Minoan Lines in 1978). She was used on the Swedish Lloyd Tilbury-Gothenburg service until 1971, when she was sold to Stena Line, and served under the names Stena Atlantica, Finnpartner, Olau Finn and Folkliner before purchase by Minoan Lines in 1984. She entered service with them as the Festos in 1985, initially serving between Piraeus and Heraklion. She later served between Ancona-Heraklion, Ancona-Cesme and Vinice-Patras. Festos was sold to Turkish owners in 1998, entering service as the Captain Zaman I of Diler Lines between Piraeus and Istanbul. Sistership Knossos became the Captain Zaman II.

Captain Zaman I
 
Festos was sold to Turkish owners in 1998, entering service as the Captain Zaman I of Diler Lines between Piraeus and Istanbul. Sistership Knossos became the Captain Zaman II. Later in 1998, Captain Zaman I was chartered to General National Maritime Co, Tripoli, Libya for service between Benghazi-Valletta, and then Brindisi-Igoumenitsa. In 2000 she was chartered to COMANAV between Nador-Sete. In 2001, Captain Zaman I was sold to Sancak Line as the Sancak I.

Sancak I
 
In 2001, Captain Zaman I was sold to Sancak Line as the Sancak I, operating between Brindisi-Cesme. She was broken up in Turkey in 2003.
