Disney Wonder, the second of the Disney cruise ships, visited Southampton between July 21st and 23rd 1999, on her delivery voyage from Italy to Florida. She was built by Fincantieri, and is 294 metres long (slightly longer than the QE2 - only the Norway is longer amongst operating cruise ships). She is 85000 gross tons, and carries 1750 passengers (lower berths only - 2400 maximum). Five Sulzer diesels, 57663 kW total, drive her at 24 knots. The crew numbers 915.
