The Northern Lighthouse Board, previously the Commissioners of Northern Light Houses, is the General Lighthouse Authority for Scotland and the Isle of Man. They have ordered an 84m MFT, a sister of the Galatea of Trinity House, which was delivered to the Board in March 2007. Pharos (9) was sold on 8th September 2006 to Byron Marine Ltd to work in the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic, as a fishery patrol and logistic support vessel.

The Northern Lighthouse Board, ordered an 84m MFT named Pharos, a sister of the Galatea of Trinity House, which was delivered to the Board in March 2007. She is the tenth vessel of this name.
