This page shows images by Ian Boyle of the last years
of the classic Isle of Man boats. I took many negatives of IOMSPCo vessels
between 1972 and 1984 and will be adding these slowly since they require
quite a lot of tidying up. The images will show the five remaining members
of 'The Six', King Orry (4), Tynwald (5), Snaefell (5), Mona's Isle (5)
and Manxman (2), the two steam car ferries Manx Maid (3)
and Ben-my-Chree (5), plus the diesel ferries Mona's Queen (5) and
Lady of Man (2) which retained many characteristics of the post war
steamships.
