France Nord
This page is under construction!
This page is devoted to postcards and photographs of the local steamers of northern France. Most of those illustrated were based at le Havre, for services to Honfleur, Trouville and up the River Seine to Rouen. There were other local services at Rouen. Tenders at Boulogne and Calais will be added soon.
I have no detailed information about any of the French steamers - any help would be appreciated

A Campbell: 1902-1915 - built: 1897)
Brighton Queen
was built by the Clydebank Shipbuilding & Engineering Co (predecessors of John Brown & Co) in 1897, for the Brighton, Worthing and South Coast Steamboat Co. She was acquired by P&A Campbell in time for the 1902 season, and operated on the South Coast, including day trips to France, until the First World War. She was used as a minesweeper and was lost off the Belgian Coast on 5th October 1915.
