	Costa Concordia was launched in September 2005 and delivered in June 2006 from Sestri Cant. Nav. SpA, Genova (Yard No: 6122). She was the first of four 114000grt sisters. The second, Costa Pacifica (Yard No: 6148), was delivered in 2009. Yard numbers 6188 and 6189 are due for delivery in 2011 and 2012. Costa Concordia hit rocks off the shore of the Italian island of Giglio on Friday 13th January 2012. A 9MB Powerpoint presentation showing 78 images of the disaster is available to download
