Sardinia Vera
 
 
Sardinia Vera was laid down as Stena Atlantica, but was launched as Marine Atlantica for Canadian service. In 2001 she began to operate under charter between Newhaven and Dieppe for Transmanche Ferries. She is a sistership to Sardinia Ferries Corsica Marina II , and also Moby Lines' Moby Vincent and COMANAV's Al Mansour. She became a spare vessel in 2001 with the arrival of the two Mega Express sisters, and was chartered to Transmanche Ferries to open their new all-year service beween Newhaven and Dieppe. She makes two return trips each weekday (only one at weekends).

This is the first official postcard issued.
