This page is devoted to
postcards and photographs of the Olau Line ferry Olau Britannia (1). She was built for the Olau Line
Sheerness-Vlissingen service in 1982. In 1989 she was sold to
Nordström & Thulin, along with sister Olau Hollandia (1), for delivery in spring 1990.
She was resold to Fred Olsen, and entered services Bayard between Kristiansand and Hirtshals.
Fred Olsen passenger ferry services were sold to Color Line in
December 1990, and she was renamed
Christian IV.
Sold to StellaNaves OY Ltd, Helsinki and renamed
Julia for Helsinki -St Petersburg service which soon folded. Sold to
Fastnet Line for use between Cork and Swansea, starting in March 2010, still
named Julia. Ceased service in November 2011 and sold to C-bed BV,
London for use as a windfarm support ship renamed Wind Perfection.
