Dar Mlodziezy (Gift of the Children) - Polish fully-rigged ship built 1982.
 
 
 
Mir (Peace) - Russian fully-rigged ship built 1987, a sister to Dar Mlodziezy. Mir was not taking part in the race, and returned to Southampton in the afternoon, as shown in the second picture.
 
 
 
Sedov - Russian four-masted barque - the largest sailing ship in the world.
 
 
 
Stavross S Marchios - A brig.
 
 
Iskra - A barquentine.
 
 
Brigantine Swan Fan Makkum.
She is the world's largest brigantine, built 1993, 61 metres in length and 1300 sq metres of sail.

Red Falcon - One of three Red Funnel 'Raptor' class ferries which run from Southampton to East Cowes, in the Isle of Wight. These photos were taken from her two sisters, Red Eagle and Red Osprey. More detailed pages devoted to the Red Funnel fleet will be created in the future.
 
 
Red Jet 3 - One of three Red Funnel fast catamarans which run from Southampton to West Cowes, in the Isle of Wight.
 
 
Sir Bevois - One of the Red Funnel tugs which share Solent towage duties with vessels in the Howard smith fleet.
 
 
Lyndhurst - One of the Howard Smith tugs which share Solent towage duties with those of Red Funnel.
